Timezone Headaches

As you may or may not have noticed, each of these comments is dated and includes the time of posting. This is all generated by a server timestamp now where as in previous versions of ShaunInman.com the date and time were just typed in while posting. Unfortunately, the server and I are in different timezones, MST and EST respectively. Making matters worse, I want to store this information in GMT so that my display code can dynamically account for Daylight Savings Time. But I managed to do it.

In other—more interesting—news, I’ve added the beginnings of a new song to .composer under Breadcrumbs, Bits, & Pieces. It’s tentatively titled “Call It A Night,” but we’ll see how long that lasts.
