Safari?

I’m not one for rants…okay, so I am.

Apple has succeeded in making my job as a responsible web designer that much more difficult (read: more expensive). Safari, a new web browser for Jaguar, was announced today. The whole African ecosystem analogy is pretty lame—especially since it’s presented in a brushed metal GUI.

And it only runs on Jaguar. Which means I drop $130 for meager updates to an OS I don’t care for (and already paid $130 for) in order to remain the responsible web designer I am.

But you know what this is really about. Designologue. One more browser to cross check my CSS against.
