Blue Collar Design

I will be speaking/presenting at a design symposium at Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, NC (but will be open to all Appalachian State University students) on February 26-27 with some former SCAD professors. My portion of the discourse is going to focus mainly on Designologue and it’s exploration of the language of design. Included in the symposium is a gallery of the speakers works. I plan on spotlighting a number of designologues, some of which I am a conspirator in and others not. Here’s the list:

I’ve chosen a range of finished and unfinished, serious and humorous, conceptual and literal but I think all are well executed. Everyone will be properly credited with the images presented in order along with a link to the designologue. I’m also planning on printing out the conversations that accompany each designologue and setting them on some sort of pedestal before the works.

I have room for another 5 pieces so if you guys have any suggestions that I’ve overlooked lemme know.
