Getting Better Support III & IV
Here’s two more for you—especially relevant with the launch of Mint 2:
III. Please, please, please don’t post your problem in the Forum and then send an email about it (or vice versa). Pick one. Imagine if everyone did both. By overwhelming the support person/team with duplicate requests you increase the amount of time it takes to respond to everyone’s requests.
IV. If you do choose to submit a support request via email, do so from the product’s website, not the author’s blog. If they’re doing their job they’re not checking their personal email.
